Jason Niedle is a creative director driven by purpose: to make a positive difference through strategic storytelling amplified by bold, beautiful design.
With over twenty years of experience across corporations, nonprofits, and individual projects, Jason has led branding efforts for countless corporate identities and websites, designed thousands of books, authored numerous articles and written 2 books, hosts a twice-weekly podcast, and produced impactful videos—all with a focus on making every message count. His work has earned over 100 awards, reflecting his unique blend of creative vision and strategic thinking.
A philosophy major turned creative communicator, Jason brings logical precision and artistic flair to everything he creates. He’s designed monumental initiatives like a one-million man-hour project meant to last 10,000 years and shaped entrepreneurial ventures as a long-time member-leader in the world’s most prominent entrepreneur’s organization, EO.
Jason is committed to continual learning and sharing knowledge. He served as a communication professor for eight years at the highly respected Chapman University and co-founded Smart Singing, an online voice education platform. He’s also a partner in Nucly, an industry leader in Photoshop tutorials. His expertise in message design led to his authorship of Message Design: Strategically Planning Individual Communications, introducing concepts like the “magazook” book format and the first-ever chapter released via Tweets. He’s published a goal-setting book and is currently writing stories for his upcoming science fiction anthology. Jason’s podcast, BeyondSaaS (YouTube / Spotify / Apple), helps tech leaders grow their business.
Photography is another of Jason's creative passions. His work has appeared on magazine covers, in books, and across calendars. In Southern California, he’s known for capturing the energy and magic of live theatre, demonstrating his dedication to visual storytelling.
As Creative Director at Tethos, Jason focuses on projects that create win/win/win outcomes: advancing clients' goals, aligning with his purpose, and making a positive impact on the planet. Notable highlights include branding fundraising events for Sir Richard Branson and helping Ellen DeGeneres raise millions in one night at Gorillapalooza—an event he named and supported through videos and over 50 visual elements.
Beyond his professional life, Jason has embraced incredible adventures: “driving” a 453-foot Navy warship, performing at Carnegie Hall, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, and embarking on a “Wedding World Tour” with four culturally authentic ceremonies across four continents, earning an honorary place in Kenya’s Maasai tribe.
At heart, Jason is most proud of his role as a husband and father.
